On 1st March the book launch of Acting Funny on the Catalan Stage took place online in an event organised together with the Catalan Philology Department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Professor John London gave an introduction on the traits of Catalan theatre and suggested some open questions, for example if the Catalan essence is based on humour. After that, the rest of participants, such as Gabriel Sansano, Núria Santamaria and Héctor Mellinas expresed their views on several matters, for example the differences in comical theatre between several regions of the Catalan countries, or the lack of theatrical work in Catalan in certain specific areas.
