The CCS at the 39th International Conference for Catalan Teachers

The #39JIPC, International Conference for Catalan Teachers (Jornades Internacionals per a Professorat de Català) organised by the Institut Ramon Llull took place last week in Castelló de la Plana.

The conference spanned four days: the first two focused on the use of AI in language teaching, with sessions led by experts and discussions on new tools and methodologies. The last two days covered a wide range of topics related to teaching Catalan language and culture, with inspiring talks and workshops led by Catalan lecturers from around the world.

There was also time for cultural and leisure activities, and of course, for networking — or fer xarxa, as we say!

The CCS was represented by Cristòfol Tripiana, our Catalan Language Assistant and administrator, and by Beth Caygill, PhD student, who also represented the Anglo-Catalan Society and presented its work.
