Last week, Valencian sociologist Alexis Lara Climent, coordinator of “La Comarca Científica” launched his book Negacionisme de gènere: Auge, expansió i mites de l’antifeminisme at Queen Mary in an event organised by ValenciansUK.
Focusing on the situation in the Valencian Country in particular, Alexis presented several theses on why negationism is becoming more prevalent and especially when it comes to gender negationism and antifeminism. The book launch was followed by a Q&A and an interesting debate between the author and the attendees.
