Maria Ribas Tur and Cristòfol Tripiana Traver, Catalan teachers at Cardiff University and Queen Mary, University of London delivered an online session last week for students of Catalan Language at the Universitat de València on what teaching Catalan abroad is like.
The session covered topics such as the students’ profiles, their reasons for studying Catalan, the different teaching methodologies applied, the assessment system used in British universities and the kind of additional activities that might encourage the students to continue learning Catalan.
